i made few jewellery pieces for a wedding – bridemaids will wear blue earrings I made. this necklace looks like a bride could wear it. it doesn’t have a bride yet. so if anyone is interested, let me know It is good for all other purposes and events, of course as well.

the pendant is made of two kinds of polymer clay, one is mother of pearl white and the second one is translucent. they look pretty nice and dynamic together. the biggest of the glass beads have this lovely milky glow and the other ones have a mother of pearl shine. it looks lovely, believe me.

I made a little shelf to make some space and some organization on my table. It had become already kind of impossible to make any jewellery in the mess all these boxes and thingies created.

So, I needed a wooden plank, two things to hold it, some screws and a bit of white paint. Altogether it turned out a cheap and extremely easy to make solution. I have been in a search for such small but nice shelf for ages but with no success. So I am very happy now. Not to mention all the pleasure building it gave I plan to make few more of these. Two to the kitchen and one more for my jewellery stuff.

Of course there was no doubt – in few moments it was clear that this space on a table was made for him…

I was thinking of this long ago made necklace when shaping this orange dress shaped pendant. Similarly, I was trying to put this one also on the hanger, but it looked much better without. The pendant is sparkling a bit due to a whit polymer clay with a mother of pearl effect. The rest of the necklace is made of simple seed beads and colourful glass chips. Jolly summery necklace I think. And the earrings. What do they remind you of? hats? Mushrooms? ghosts?

White mother of pearl polymer clay and translucent polymer clay when mixed together create such a great relief effect which is not visible on a photo, though. However, you do see the patterns, don’t you. these beads with ambiguous shape are also made of this clay. I quite like this ambiguous shape chips. I’ll plan to experiment with that a bit more, one orange kind of retro style necklace is already in work. and this set is actually made of leftovers of another necklace I make for one future bride.

Colourful set which makes me to dream of deep blue sea, and of sunshine, beach and holiday…

I am discovering polymer clay. I haven’t made many patterns before, but I start to get it and to feel this material better. oh, and these freshwater pearls!? beautiful!

This necklace has a colour of sand. Wet sand, I would say. This you would use if you would want to build a castle by the seaside. These beads are called golden sand stone beads. They are synthetic, as much as I know. But whatever they are, they do shine beautifully. The polymer clay pendant has a very similar colour and sparkle in it. They mach perfectly and I really enjoy the final result. But I have to admit, it would be difficult to make a ugly thing out of these beads.

Finally it seems the spring is here to stay. I really enjoy the sunshine which helps to keep up the mood even on the busiest working days. I put pieces of this sunshine into this necklace and earrings.

I love making brooches both for the process and for the result. Everything starts with pearls and their colours which will find their place one by one next to each other. I never know how it will end up finally.

I think everyone should wear brooches with their jackets and sweaters. I think I should also make some less shiny brooches for everyday use. Although why cant one shine each day?

The first brooch is made of glass beads and there are also some pieces of shells – white and purple. The white leaves were initially part of a necklace I was wearing at my university graduation ceremony. Once upon a time when I did not make jewelry yet, but I surely did know how to break it. Hopefully there will be a day I can make necklace for my next university graduation

This yellow brooch is probably the most ordered piece I have ever created in my jewelry-making history. This yellow is carried by yearning for summer and it looks like dandelion to me.

Viki was so nice and organized 3-hour workshop. She is really skilled in all kinds of arts and handicrafts herself and she was also real good in teaching.

We learned Japanese bookbinding which is a simple binding technique everyone can learn quite fast and do it at home with little equipment and patience. But still, it took us nearly 3.5 hours.

I learned once again that I am a terribly messy person – all covered with clay and not managing to cut straight book covers even with a ruler. But at the end the result wasn’t that bad – it did resemble a notebook.

I used a piece of fabric I had designed and painted some time earlier in a monotype print technique. Few wooden beads and a bit of macrame to make it more interesting

I still need to learn how to make correct corners…
